Christina M. Zivec, LCPC
Christina Zivec earned her Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in 2010. Since then, she has worked with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults in many different life stages. She has found that working with teenagers and their families is a particular passion. She is able to help improve communications between teenagers and their parents while helping both sides understand the other's perspectives.
She also has experience in working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety and other psychological difficulties. She has worked with both males and females who have survived varying types and severity of abusive or nasty behaviors from significant others and family members. Christina has found that no matter the difficulty one is facing in life, having a supportive person who is able to provide alternative perspectives and a non-judgmental understanding can significantly help.
